Position Description

Represent the company while managing the day-to-day export trading function, respond to inquires from customers, purchase and source products, coordinate logistics and other functions in order to give elite customer service to overseas customers.



Education / Experience

  • Ideally, the incumbent will have a minimum of a Bachelor s degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Five to seven years of related experience in logistics management, purchasing, and export sales.


  • The candidate must have strong administrative skills and the ability to develop working relationships with all major functions within the company.
  • Leadership skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft 365: Outlook, Word, and Excel.



  • Assumes export sales responsibility for the day-to-day management of designated Nature’s Sungrown Foods (NSF) customers and markets.
  • Manages day-to-day operations and coordinates daily activities with the customer service/logistics team.
  • Assumes the purchasing responsibility and seeks new reliable companies to supply products to NSF and its customers.
  • Studies the commodities markets and commits to learning updates daily with a particular focus on the pork, butter, and cheese markets also with an emphasis on the beef, poultry, and organic markets.
  • Responsible to implement purchasing procedures for each export sale that NSF creates which includes setting up a quote sheet with all direct costs, plus the price list and gross profit.
  • Responsible to understand documentation requirements for each customer/country and ensuring the customer service/logistics team has a complete understanding including USDA and Organic certificates.
  • Responsible to maintain excellent relations and service with customers and suppliers so that NSF continues to be known in the export industry as a WOW partner!
  • Sends out price quotations to customers and provides completed quotes and other documentation to the customer service/logistics team.
  • Responds to inquiries that NSF, its customers, and supplying partners may generate. This includes qualifying potential customers and sending out product and pricing information as requested.
  • Creates and enhances sales and marketing materials to present NSF and its products in a superior way to customers and prospective customers.
  • Oversees the supplying partners’ marketing materials and product specifications in NSF’s files and sends out to customers as requested.
  • Works with CFO to monitor customer accounts receivables, supplier payables, and cash flow, generate monthly gross profit reports, and other duties.
