Qualifications

  • U.S. Customs broker license
  • BS/BA Degree and approximately 4 or more years of related work experience in the industry.
  • Experience leading a team to success.
  • The ability to recommend and drive decisions while ensuring compliance with customs regulations, rules, and policies.
  • The ability to understand challenges or underlying concerns, share ideas, and develop effective responses.

  • Must have strong mindset towards advancing programs using emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a Global Customs Team.
  • Explain and maintain up to date complex US import/export regulatory requirements to team members and/or clients concerning all the rules and regulations of the 19 CFR and be the bridge
    between clients and US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Participating Government Agencies (PGA’s).
  • Identify and collaborate with internal stakeholders in the development of key operational efficiencies through automation.
  • Own all aspects of managing and growing the Customs Brokerage organization in terms of day to day operations, account growth, and workload balancing.
