This executive position resides within the Global Logistics, Inventory, Spares organization (GLIS), as part of the Global Operations organization (GOps). This person will collaborate across the GOps, specifically with Supply Chain, Order Fulfillment (Production Control), Manufacturing, and Spares Operations.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 15 years of professional experience, preferably with a minimum of 5 years in executive management roles.
  • Has worked in an executive leadership role within a global matrix managed multi-site company with manufacturing and supplier operations spread over multiple continents with at least $1 billion in revenue.
  • Demonstrated business orientation and proactive leadership that identifies and anticipates problems, issues, and risks to a project outcome and manages those issues in advance of a critical situation.
  • Demonstrated success at using rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
  • Proven record in leading a large organization to a new level of performance.
  • Has led and developed high performing teams and demonstrated the ability to maintain and engage staff.
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills across multiple cultures in North America, Europe, and Asia.
  • Be able to lead & influence technically strong employees.
  • Believe, practice and reward core values (achievement, honesty and integrity, innovation and continuous improvement, mutual trust and respect, open communication, ownership and accountability, teamwork, think: customer, company, individual).
  • Executive presentation skills for internal and external executive presentations.
  • Operational background required.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma Master blackbelt preferred.
  • Experience in Semi-Conductor or High-Tech Industry preferred

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Business Operations or Engineering Equivalent, MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification desirable

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees the planning and controls the flow of materials, products, services, and related systems information from point of origin to point of delivery.
  • Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to supply chain services, inventory control, or critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, third-party warehousing and shipping/receiving activities.
  • Develops and implements logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints.
  • Provides financial reporting and reconciliation of inventories.
  • Exhibits a thorough understanding of international Letters of Credit and other forms of banking documents and international shipments.
  • Interacts with vendors and peers in Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Product Development personnel to optimize systems and procedures.
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
