Trade Compliance Manager

| Our client is the industry-leader in the manufacturing and marketing of a range of components for specialized mobility markets. They seek a Trade Compliance Manager for their Minneapolis, MN office to ensure compliance with all trade laws and regulations. |
| Qualifications:
BS degree, related experience. U.S. licensed Custom Broker ideal. |
Responsibilities:
* Define, implement and continually improve trade compliance policies
* Collaborate with internal transportation leaders, third-party logistics partners, customs brokers, freight forwarders and trade advisory consultants to ensure global compliance
* Oversee internal controls for importing and exporting regarding valuation, classification, origin, marking, record-keeping, etc.
* Determine product code classifications, audit import/export transactions, insure appropriate trade record-keeping, handle customer inquiries and manage free trade agreements (primarily NAFTA) |
