Director Trade Compliance and Security
|
The Director of Trade Compliance and Security is responsible for building stable, data and rule-driven export-compliance and security processes. Establish a culture of compliance in a commercial-item company moving toward more defense-customer-oriented and classified products and services. Use Commodity Jurisdiction determinations, Internal Commodity Jurisdiction determinations, commodity classification requests, analysis, and strategy to identify and articulate product jurisdiction (ITAR/EAR) and classification (ECCN), moving from reactive transactional decisions just before a product ships to planned decisions early in product development.

Qualifications:
• BS in business or equivalent field required. Master’s degree preferred. • Minimum of 7 years of increasingly responsible managerial experience.• Exceptional communication skills. • Ability to think strategically. • Strong analytical capabilities. • Proven negotiation skills. • Ability to identify key talent. • Outstanding collaborative skills. U.S. Citizenship is required. Additional Preferred Qualifications: • Export Compliance certification a plus.
