    TITLE:Global Trade Compliance Manager
LOCATION:Milpitas, CA

    Qualifications: In this position, the individual will be responsible for managing all of our company global export / import/ customs compliance activities. The individual will have responsibility for management of all company-wide programs, training, and procedures across all business units, product lines and functions in compliance with applicable US and international export and customs requirements as they pertain to development, design, and manufacturing of hardware, software and technology internationally.

    Responsibilities: This position requires a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5 years of professional management and related work experience, including 3+ years of experience with export licensing/classification reviews, encryption technologies, interfacing with governmental agencies, export licensing activities relating to hardware, software, and technology exports of encrypted items, as well as employee supervision. A minimum of 3 years of US Customs interaction is required and a US Customs Broker license is preferred. Extensive knowledge of automated global trade modules is required; the SAP GTS module is definitely a plus. The individual should have prowess in all areas of trade compliance, including without limitation, analyzing and applying the US Dept of Commerce EAR compliance, ECCN assignment, US Bureau of Census's Foreign Trade Statistic Regulations, the US Treasury's OFAC Regulations and US Customs Regulations (CFR, HTS), valuation, reconciliation and country of origin, plus equivalent regulations worldwide. The individual must be able to effectively manage day-to-day activities as well as the strategic aspects of global trade compliance worldwide. Detail orientation, organization, experience with on line tools and training are a must. The individual should have experience working with foreign suppliers and third parties within a complex product development, manufacturing supply chain, and have extensive experience directing policies, tracking regulatory changes, as well as training and communicating effectively across all levels of the organization, including senior executives, and functional groups such as Finance, Information Technology, Sales, Product Engineering, Legal and Operations around the globe.
